5th day

                                                           LAST DAY

HELLO!

To end up with the proyect we have been preparing the robot for the final battle.To do so, we have built two sheets to move the otrer robots upwards an take them out of the ring.Later we have programmed the sensors to make them detect the white,to prevent it from falling out of the circle.

Before the break we have met in another class and the battle has started.In the first round our group,Wall-e´s angels, has ended up fourth but in the second one we´ve been the second ones.

We have really enjoyed this proyect and the battles have been so much fun.

1st day

                                                  FIRST DAY

Hello everyone!

Today we have started the new proyect.To start we have  been divided into teams and started with  the setting up of the robot.After setting it up the instructors have taught us how to program the robots tho make them move and spin arround by configurating them with a program on the computer.by configurating them we have made the robots go throug several circuits in which they had to spin arround and go backwards.

In honour to the famous Disney movie we have decided to name our robot Wall-e and ourgroupname,after discussingit,will be "Wall-e´s angels"

4th day

                                 FOURTH DAY


Hey guys!

Today we have been programming our robot,Wall-e, with the device to make it search the black and the white colours to make it move following a line.We have also changed the structure of the robot to place a device which detects objects and stops before crashing into them..Later, we have programmed the robot using a circle and four bottles.The objectvive was to make it spin arround in the centre and detect the bottles, and drag themout of the circleone by one.After that we have prepared our robot for the competiton that we are going to do tomorrow.To do this,we have put some protections on the wheels to prevent it from knocking over and we have also placed two sheets to protect the front.

At the computer room we have been working on the questions about the movie "I,robot" and also on the programming of our individual scratches.

3rd day

To start the morning, today we have built an arm for the robot.This arm allowed it to hit a ball by spinning arround.
Once programmed, we have been playing bowling with it. Later we have played a bowling competition,after having added a new control whitch allowed us to control it manually. Unfortunately,we have lost the first round,but we have ended up in second position.

2nd day

Hello guys!

Today we have continued working with the robot. We have built a protype of the robot´s arms and we have placed it. With those arms we have made a number of circuits. One was to move the robot  with arms up, toward an object, down arms and take the object. Then it turns back and goes to another object. After working with the arms we have started building several structures that we will use tomorrow to make the robot shoot down bowling skittles.
 This is the robot with the arms included.
